The place Conil de la Frontera is located in Andalusia on the Costa De La Luz (translated: On the coast of light) . This part of Spain is very special, its coasts are often deserted and the sea is just wonderful!

The charming white village of Conil is about 40 km south of the city of Cádiz. It is a typical Andalusian fishing village with narrow streets and many nice tapas bars. There are no high-rise buildings and no mass tourism here.

Conil is right by the sea, an approx. 15 km long, golden-yellow sandy beach is practically in front of the door.

In the north there are beautiful, sheltered bathing bays and cliffs, lined with moss-green pine forests.

It is a pleasure to stroll through the many small alleys with its typical whitewashed houses and the flower-decked patios.

There are many nice tapas bars, wonderful stand bars and restaurants. And what is also not unimportant, you can shop here very nicely, there are still many small shops with fresh fruit and vegetables and a well-stocked market hall. On Friday there is also the colorful weekly market, where you can find almost everything you need for life.

Conil is not a “typical” holiday destination with rows of souvenir shops and inflated prices for tourists. The locals look forward to your visitors, are extremely hospitable and open.

Anyone who has been here once will want to come back again and again! Because of the beauty of the place and the coast, because of the relaxed atmosphere, because of the great opportunities to practice water sports and, last but not least, because of the excellent gastronomy. The products from the region are processed, the super fresh fish from the Atlantic, fully ripe, sun-drenched fruits and untreated vegetables! And then eat in the open air, that tastes fantastic!

Seville

Seville is the capital of the Spanish autonomous region of Andalusia and the province of Seville. It is the center of southern Spain in the field of culture, politics, economy and art. The city has about 700,000 inhabitants, about as many people live in the surrounding area.

Seville is located on the Guadalquivir River, a sea-going river for medium-sized ships that can sail into the city on it. In the largest old town of Europe are the most important sights of the city, the Cathedral of Seville with the Giralda tower, the Alcázar and the Torre del Oro. The Sevillian Barrio Triana is the birthplace of Spanish flamenco.

Seville is known for its varied cuisine and the large number of restaurants, bars and pubs. In Seville, people take their time to eat. Stroll through the charming Barrio Santa Cruz and soak up the atmosphere of Andalusian city life.

Cadiz

The fascinating port city of Cadiz is the oldest inhabited city in Western Europe, it was built around 1100 BC. Founded by the Phoenicians.

Cadiz is famous for its beautiful location. The city lies on a small peninsula that is connected to the mainland by a bridge in the Bay of Cadiz. The attractive old town at the tip of the peninsula is almost completely surrounded by water. While strolling through the labyrinth of narrow streets and beautiful squares, you cannot get lost because the beautiful beach promenade with its wonderful gardens and parks is never far away.

Cádiz is the city that smiles: the greatest attraction of Cádiz is the legendary happiness of the people of Cádiz. Here people are happy about every new day and greet each other with hugs and kisses, spontaneously sing flamenco or enjoy the cool breeze and the fantastic sunset together on the beach.

Jerez de la Frontera

Jerez is known as the sherry town, where the smell of sherry wafts through the streets from the whitewashed walls of the wineries.

Wineries, horses and bulls are here in the hands of owners of large estates whose names adorn the walls of the city.

The Andalusian dressage school and its horses enjoy an excellent reputation worldwide and the annual horse fair in spring is attended by connoisseurs from all over Europe.

If Seville is the birthplace of flamenco, then Jerez has to be called its capital: Jerez is home to the official academy of flamenco, the “centro de Baile Jerez”.
